Charity shop hops into action to celebrate Easter

From the archive, first published Monday 17th Mar 2008.

COLOURFUL Easter bonnets were the only headgear to be seen in at one Southampton charity shop as volunteers unveiled many seasonal goodies on sale.

The Wayne Howard Trust Charity Shop in Church Street, Shirley, has beautiful hand-made cards and other gifts available for customers to buy and help celebrate Easter.

All the money raised will go towards The Wayne Howard Trust Charity that helps people who have suffered brain injuries.

The charity shop is also appealing for volunteers who can spare a couple of hours every week to help out.
