Volunteers required to get involved in the running of our Charity Shop in Shirley, Southampton, UK.  This is an opportunity to test any existing skills you may have, gain some you haven’t, and make some new friends!

What needs to be done?  Lots!!  Clothing stock needs to be sorted and steamed; books to be sorted and priced; crockery checked and washed; till needs to be operated, and also, for the creative people, an opportunity to create shop displays and layout the goods.

What else?  We are also seeking a Volunteer Manager (hours by arrangement).  If you have managerial or supervisor skills, particularly in the retail area, then we would love to hear from you.  It may be that you had these skills in the past, have taken time out from the workplace for some reason, and wish to get back into an environment where you can regenerate your skills.  By becoming a Manager in our shop, you would be able to return to the workplace with much more credibility and confidence.

The plans for the rehabilitation clinic are already underway and all monies raised from the charity shop will be going directly to the Charity.  Help us to turn the goal into a reality!

You can get involved as much, or as little, as you want, and it may well be that retail is not the environment for you but you wish to volunteer your support in some other way.
